A fish and chip van visits Stow-cum-Quy on

Main Street (see map). It plays a distinctive tune when it’s on it’s way
but this can not be heard from the Coach House!!
Public Transport
There is a bus that runs through Quy to Cambridge and Newmarket. The
bus stop can be found on foot by turning right out of the driveway and
then turning right down a gravelled pathway on the left hand side of no.
19. This takes you to the main road. Turn right and just outside the
Church on the opposite side of the road is the bus stop for Cambridge,
opposite is for Newmarket. Timetables are supplied in The Coach House.
Parking in Cambridge If you are going for a site seeing tour of
Cambridge, Park and Ride is probably the easiest way to get into the
city. The nearest Park and Ride is a short distance from Quy on
Newmarket Road. Turn right out of Orchard Street and head towards the
A14/Cambridge. Turn right at the traffic lights and head into the left
hand lane at the roundabout. Go straight over onto the A1303 to
Cambridge (this is Newmarket Road). At the next roundabout go straight
over and head onto the right hand lane. This is the lane for the Park
and Ride. This service is £2.00 per person.
There are around 4 main well signposted Car Parks in the centre of
Cambridge and are approximately £1.60 per hour. Please note that these
and the traffic entering Cambridge gets extremely busy at peak times and
weekends.
